Friends of Waterfront Park
Community Partnership Committee Application

WE ARE NOW ONLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR OUR ACCESSIBILITY ADVISORY COMMITTEE. We highly encourage people with disabilities and/or lived experience to apply to join our 2025 cohort!

Thank you for your interest in applying for one of Friends of Waterfront Park's Community Partnership Committees! These committees are crucial in helping our nonprofit organization co-design and learn from community members to build a more vibrant, inclusive, accessible, and community-centric Waterfront Park.

Applications for the Accessibility Advisory Committee are due by January 6th at 12pm PST. Applicants will hear back from our team by 1/10/24. Please note, there are three distinct committees and applications for the Community Connections and Pulling Together Committees are now closed. Please learn about each of them on our website at waterfrontparkseattle.org/community-partnership-committees and only apply if you are seeking to join the Accessibility Advisory Committee.

Selected applicants will be contacted for a 30-minute virtual interview. If you are selected for an interview, please save the date for February 13th 5:00-7:00pm, which may be our first all-committees convening (TBD). More details will be shared when the final selection of committee members is announced.

If you have any access or accommodation needs through this application process, please reach out to jessica@waterfrontparkseattle.org and nico@waterfrontparkseattle.org or call (316) 210-2742. All demographic questions are optional, but we appreciate knowing a little more about you to make sure our committees have broad representation.
