Vending Opportunities

Waterfront Park is excited to present a variety of vending opportunities. Please review the options below and specify the ones you wish to apply for.


Vendor fees vary based on program/location from $50+ plus a % commission to be determined during contracting. Vendor booth fees will be collected prior to the event, while commissions will be assessed after the event or on a monthly basis, depending on the specific program.

Lunch Food Truck Vending

Friends of Waterfront Park Vending is hosting a lunch food truck program on Pier 62 aimed at enhancing the visitor experience at Waterfront Park by offering locally sourced food, beverages, and Seattle-themed goods.

The food and beverage offerings at Seattle’s Railroad Way South Stadium Vending tend to be diverse, ranging from typical stadium fare (hot dogs, pretzels) to more gourmet options. Vendors will be onsite for most game days.



Vendor Requirements
Across all Waterfront Park Vending Opportunities

  • Vendors may not sell any items that require a Washington State Liquor Cannabis Board license to sell to the public.  For example, vendors may not sell alcohol or cannabis.  
  • Vendors may not sell smoking-related items. Waterfront Park is a non-smoking space. The sale of items like cigarettes, tobacco, pipes, and/or vaping equipment or supplies is not allowed. 
  • Vendors may not sell or display weapons, fireworks, items that require fuel to operate, or any other items deemed a safety hazard.  
  • Vendors may not recruit the public for the purposes of employment or joining a business enterprise. 
  • In reference to Indian Arts and Crafts Act (P.L. 101-644), it is Friends’ policy that vendors may not sell products that represent Indigenous culture that were created by non-Indigenous people.  
  • Vendors will need to be ready to present proof of required permits/licenses and/or insurance which may include: Health Department certificates/permits, WA/Seattle Business License No., Certificate of Insurance with Friends of Waterfront Park and City of Seattle additionally covered. Failure to submit proof of permits that are applicable to the vendor will result in the vendor not being able to participate in the market

Technical Requirements
Friends of Waterfront Park can support vendors by providing staff to guide load-in and load-out, and serve as host within the space. FWP Staff or partners that are co-hosting vendor markets are also responsible for trouble-shooting and identifying ongoing issues with vendors or with the public in the space.

What's provided: 
  • Vending space 
  • Restrooms (located on Pier 62 and Pier 58) 
  • Trash Removal  
  • Vehicle access for load-in/load-out (dependent on location and the event) 
  • Power (available at some vending locations & power needs are reviewed in advance) 
What you should bring & are responsible for: 
  • Table 
  • Pop Up Tent
  • Chairs 
  • Portable charging banks (for POS systems) 
  • Parking 
  • Ground cover for Food Vendors operating in tents 
  • Signs/Displays 
  • Reliable WiFi (we recommend having a data enabled device) 
  • Hot water (for Food Vendor Handwashing station) 
  • Water bottle (refillable water station on-site) 
  • Removal of all cardboard and recycling 
We cannot support the use of generators at Waterfront Park but can assist with some technical services such as electricity. 






Economic Impact

This information would be stored confidentially, aggregated with data from other vendors and events and never reported with your business name. We would use the data to tell future vendors what they can anticipate, and to share the economic benefits of our events more broadly.
