Program Overviews

Thank you for your interest in vending at Waterfront Park. Submission of this application does not guarantee a vending opportunity. Applications will be reviewed after the close date, and all applicants will be notified of their status.


Key Dates 
  • February 13, 2026 – Application opens
  • March 13, 2026 - Application Closes for 2026 Priority Consideration
  • March 27, 2026 – Vendors selected for the season
  • April 01, 2026 - Vendor Open House
  • April 15, 2026 - Contracting, COI, and Permitting Complete
  • May 20, 2026 - Vending begins.
Before you apply, please confirm:
  • You are a Washington-based or PNW vendor

  • You hold (or can obtain) a Seattle Business License

  • If applicable, you hold an active Health Department permit

Seeking a variety of snack vendors, dessert vendors, and unique engaging vendors. I.e. caricature artists, permanent jewelry, artisan/retail etc.

WORLD CUP VENDING PROGRAM 

Operating during Seattle specific World Cup Games along the park. We are looking for specific PNW and cultural food trucks, artisan/retail vendors, snack vendors, food booth vendors, etc.

All 
vending hours for each opportunity may vary and are subject to change. 
Fee Structue

All vending activities at Waterfront Park are subject to:

  • 15% revenue share on all gross sales
  • A 5% additional revenue share may apply during designated special events

Revenue collected directly supports free, inclusive public programming, park operations, and community events throughout the waterfront. 


Sales Reporting Requirement
All vendors are required to submit sales data:
  • At the conclusion of each event, or
  • At the end of each month, depending on the program or event type.
Sales data will be stored confidentially, aggregated across vendors and events, and will never be publicly reported with your business name. We would use the data to tell future vendors what they can anticipate, and to share the economic benefits of our events more broadly.
Vending Requirements
Across all Waterfront Park Vending Opportunities, Vendors may not:
  • Sell alcohol, cannabis, or items requiring a WSLCB license
  • Sell smoking-related items

  • Sell or display weapons, fireworks, or hazardous items

  • Recruit the public for employment or business enterprises

  • Sell products that represent Indigenous culture that were created by non-Indigenous people (Indian Arts and Crafts Act compliance, P.L. 101-644)

Required Documentation
  • Health Department permits (if applicable)

  • WA/Seattle Business License

  • Insurance: Vendors must carry General Liability insurance with a minimum limit of $1M per occurrence and be prepared to provide proof of insurance.

    • Certificate of Insurance (COI): The COI must name Friends of Waterfront Park and the City of Seattle as Additional Insureds.

Friends of Waterfront Park can support vendors by providing staff to guide load-in and load-out, and serve as host within the space. FWP Staff or partners that are co-hosting vendor markets are also responsible for trouble-shooting and identifying ongoing issues with vendors or with the public in the space.

What's provided: 
  • Vending space 
  • Restrooms (located on Pier 62 and near Pier 58) 
  • Vehicle access for load-in/load-out (dependent on location and the event) 
  • Power (limited to certain areas and must be pre-approved for power usage.)
What you should bring & are responsible for: 
  • Handwashing station
  • Table 
  • Pop Up Tent
  • Chairs 
  • Portable charging banks (for POS systems) 
  • Parking 
  • Ground cover for Food Vendors operating in tents 
  • Signs/Displays (MUST BE PRE-APPROVED) 
  • Reliable WiFi (we recommend having a data enabled device) 
  • Hot water (for Food Vendor Handwashing station) 
  • Water bottle (refillable water station on-site) 
  • Removal of all trash, cardboard and recycling 
  • Generator (If applicable, must be a quiet pre-approved generator. Friends cannot guarantee power in all locations.)
